Different Versions of Blackjack
Double Exposure Blackjack: This is a variation of blackjack in which both of the dealers cards are shown. This takes out the guess work involved in whether to hit or stay. The downside is that payouts are less then a normal blackjack game.
Single Deck Blackjack: As the name implies, the dealer is only using one deck, which can be a real advantage if you already know which cards has been played. This is traditionally the game that the most players have tried cheating on because of the low number of cards.
Spanish 21 Blackjack: This blackjack variation uses 8 decks, but there are only 48 cards in each deck because they do not have cards with a face value of 10.
European Blackjack: This variation sets a special rule on dealer’s hand, where no hole card is dealt until it is dealer’s turn to play the hand.
Blackjack Switch: In this version of blackjack, you play with two hands and you are allowed to swap cards between the two hands.
Pontoon: This is quite different from the usual blackjack game. Pontoon also has its own rules, strategies and terminologies.

Multi Hand Classic Blackjack: This is a multi hand version of single deck blackjack. The dealer must stand on all 17's. The dealer does not peek at the hole card for blackjack. You can only split a pair once. You can only double down on two card totals of 9, 10 or 11. Ten-value cards must have the same rank in order to split.
Multi Hand Atlantic City Blackjack: This is a multi hand version of Atlantic City blackjack, which is the most common version played at casinos on the East coast of the US. It is played with 8 standard decks of cards. The dealer must stand on all 17's. The dealer has to check for blackjack if a 10 or ace is showing. You can double down on any two cards. You can double down after a split and can split a total of 3 times. A split ace and a 10 is 21 and not blackjack. Unlike 10 value cards can be split. Late Surrender is allowed.
Multi Hand Vegas Strip Blackjack: This is a multi hand version of Vegas Strip blackjack, which is the most common version played at casinos in Nevada. It is played with 4 standard decks of cards. The dealer must stand on all 17's. The dealer peeks at the hole card when a 10 or ace is showing. You can double down on any two cards. You can double down after a split and can split a total of 3 times. A split ace and a 10 is 21 and not blackjack. Unlike 10 value cards can be split.
